Pokorná, Barbora ; Smetana, Matěj (referee) ; Kvíčala, Petr (advisor)
My work called "Psychological portrait" contain two different series - self-portraits and portraits of my friends. The both of them are reflecting mental state of human, but each of them in different way. The friends are portrayed in the way how I personally perceive them, whereas self-portraits recapitulate several important moments of my life which affected me during the last year. The paintings are very personal, so people who don´t know me are not able to understand it very well. The important is, that the pictures should give the impression and arouse the questions - it is intensified by the titles, which slightly uncover their content. At the same time each of the series are somehow connected to the my previous works, which I made during the study, so it is some kind of completion of my previous creation.

In my bachelor thesis, I experiment to create an author's visual language in the form of a 3D real-time rendering. Later, I add audio and music components to the visual and create game mechanics. In this work, I give up the existing methods and implementations of stylization in 3D rendering and create a new language based on the multiplication of color areas and lines. When creating the audio, I use noise as a source signal, which is then used in various types of synthesis. All elements are created with theme self-portrait.

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is the formation of so-called "personal mythologies" - subjective constructs of reality which are created spontaneously and naturally as a result of the need of inner and outer world interpretation. These constructs are built on the groundwork of experiences, impressions and memories, associating organically and creating unique bonds. The work put a goal to make this topic as an environment which will show the spectator those bonds, background of their formation and final mythologies as a selfportraits unit.

Empathy
Demková, Tereza ; Kosziba,, Klaudia (referee) ; Rathouský, Luděk (advisor)
For my practical part of a bachelors thesis I have chosen empathy as a topic. As this topic can cover some of the family issues I notice nowadays. High percentage of divorces and unwillingness to take responsibility for children are all issues that are generally well-known. However in my opinion precisely the general knowledge is something that is rarely taken as an issue of an individual. My work are three paintings done in oil on canvas, not stretched on frames. They are placed as drawings or photos. They are auto-portraits that reflect my experiences with psychotherapy and my family background. The placement of these paintings is supposed to evoke an insight into an individual in more of a physician sense. In my opinion these paintings and their placement can invoke thoughts around family, empathy and visual art.

Subsequently, architectural elements from the High Gothic period, specifically gargoyles and mascarons on the Cathedral of St. Vitus, Wenceslas and Adalbert in Prague, are examined. Lastly, the theoretical part includes a presentation of the works of Master Theodorik, as a representative of painting of this period. The didactic part describes an educational project for pupils of the 7th grade of primary school. This project builds upon the various types of Gothic visual arts - architecture, sculpture, painting. The thematic unit begins with a visit to the Monastery of St. Agnes of Bohemia. In the first art task, students create the facade of an urban Gothic house. During the second task, students focus on medieval fantasy creatures and their modeling in clay. The last artistic task is the transfer of a drawing from the original of Master Theodorik's works using a grid and subsequently painting it. The last part complements and concludes the entire...
